At Home 1st Physiotherapy, we believe in complete transparency and delivering uncompromised, gold-standard care directly to your doorstep in Southwell and surrounding areas.
Unlike traditional clinic visits where travel, parking, and short appointments add fatigue and stress, our home visit service provides focused, 1-on-1 specialist rehabilitation where it matters most: in your own living environment.
Payment is required at the time of the appointment either by Card Machine or BACS/Bank transfer.
I provide an Initial telephone consultation (up to 10 mins) for free to ensure that my services are correct for you. After the initial consultation, you will be sent our terms and conditions by e-mail with a confirmation of your appointment.

- Meticulous Coordination: Ongoing communication with your GP, NHS consultants, or family members to ensure seamless care.
- Full Peace of Mind: Fully insured, HCPC registered, MCSP certified, and Enhanced DBS checked.
Services & Fee Structure
Initial Assessment & Treatment Session
Duration: 60 Minutes
Price: £85
Ideal for: New clients, new conditions, or returning clients with a new issue.
A comprehensive in-home consultation designed to understand the root cause of your condition and start treatment immediately.
What's Included:
- Full physical, musculoskeletal, and neurological assessment (evaluating strength, joint range of motion, balance, and sensation).
- In-home safety and environmental risk audit.
- A clear, written rehabilitation pathway and custom exercise plan.
Specialist Follow-Up Rehabilitation Session
Duration: 45 Minutes
Price: £80
Ideal for: Ongoing recovery, targeted condition management, and progressive rehabilitation.
Dedicated 1-on-1 therapy sessions designed to build strength, advance your mobility, and track measurable improvements.
Tailored To Your Specific Condition:
- Stroke & Neurological (Parkinson's, MS): Focused neuroplasticity exercises, spasticity management, and real-world transfer training (getting out of armchairs, navigating doorways safely).
- Orthopaedic Surgery (Total Knee & Hip Replacements): Joint mobilisation, swelling reduction, gait correction with walking aids, and stair navigation.
- Falls & Balance Retraining: Progressive balance challenge exercises, core stability work, and safe floor-recovery practice.
- Respiratory & Post-Hospital Recovery: Chest clearance techniques, breathlessness management, and rebuilding hospital-lost stamina.
The Senior MOT
Duration: 60 Minutes
Price: £100
Ideal for: Older adults seeking to maintain independence, prevent falls, and stay active in later life.
A thorough, proactive health and mobility check designed specifically with the older adult in mind. Society often accepts joint stiffness, slower walking, and loss of balance as "just getting older"—we disagree.
What's Included:
- Full-body strength, joint flexibility, and posture screening.
- Standardised clinical balance and gait assessment (identifying subtle fall risks).
- Frailty & endurance check to make daily chores and outings easier.
- Actionable advice on footwear, home safety, and joint mobility.
- Personalised summary report for you and your family.
Reports - Starting at £30 per 30 minutes. Reports can include DLA Reports, Blue Badge Reports and PIP Reports. More in depth reports will be quoted for individually.
Cancellation charge - 50% of treatment fee is required if cancellation within 48hours of appointment. The full Fee is required for a cancellation within 24 hours.
Areas covered - Based in Southwell, Nottinghamshire + 10 Miles. Can cover all of Nottingham/Nottinghamshire however this may incur additional costs - can be discussed at initial telephone consultation.
